Common questions
How many guests can the venue hold?
Up to 450 guests. The layout is fully customizable, so we can scale the room down for smaller, more intimate gatherings just as easily.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. The venue includes a full commercial kitchen, which gives your preferred caterer everything they need for seamless food service throughout your event.
Are there rooms for getting ready?
There are two private suites on site — ideal for bridal and groom preparation, wardrobe changes, or simply somewhere quiet to gather before the celebration begins.
Where are you located, and is there parking?
We’re at 19 Notion Road in Ajax, about 3 minutes from Highway 401 — easy to reach from anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. There is ample on-site parking, so arrivals and departures stay stress-free.
Do you handle décor and planning, or just the venue?
Both. The Experience by A. James offers event planning, coordination, décor and design alongside the venue itself — so you can book the space on its own, or have the same team handle everything from first concept through to the last dance.
What kinds of events do you host?
Weddings and receptions, engagement parties, bridal and baby showers, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, corporate events, conferences and seminars, fundraisers and galas, cultural celebrations, holiday parties, community events and private gatherings.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on your date, guest count, and the scope of what you need. Get in touch with the details of what you’re planning and we’ll put together a proposal built around it.
Can we see the space before booking?
Absolutely — and we’d encourage it. Call or email us and we’ll arrange a time to walk you through the venue in person.
